Paul J. Payant
Paul J. Payant was born and raised in Antigo, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school, he received his undergraduate and law school degrees from Marquette University. Admitted to the State bar in 1984, he returned to his home town to practice law. He is a current member of the Langlade County and American Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all Wisconsin State Courts as well as Federal Court.
Paul primarily practices personal injury law as well as family law. He also concentrates his practice in estate planning, probate, and general litigation. He is a past committee member of the Attorneys Board of Attorneys Professional Responsibility. He also serves as a court commissioner and as the Forest County Corporation Counsel, where he performs the county’s legal services on its behalf.
Paul is very active in the community: He is currently the president of the Antigo Unified School District Foundation, president of the Red Robin Scholarship Foundation, a past board member of the Antigo Unified School District, United Way Foundation, Bass Lake Golf Course, Green Bay Diocese Board of Education, All Saint School Fund, and the Antigo Optimist Club.
